// about / builder / observer

Same curiosity.
Different materials.

Software, infrastructure, wood, LEGO, organizations, AI—I keep returning to the same question: what is the system underneath this, and can I make it work better?

About / The pattern

Insatiable curiosity, customer-centric by instinct.

BG

I’ve joined groundcover as its first US Technical Account Manager, bringing together the customer work, observability, and hands-on systems building that have shaped my career.

I build literal and figurative platforms — for fun. A decade of customer-facing technical work taught me to speak to an engineering team as a peer and to a CTO as a partner. Somewhere along the way I started building the systems myself.

I write production Python, Go, and TypeScript, use AI coding tools daily, and treat “make it never happen again” as the actual deliverable. When I'm not shipping software, I'm making something out of wood or a few thousand bricks — same compulsion, different raw material.

The next chapter / groundcover

First US TAM. A lot to build.

I’ve joined groundcover as its first US Technical Account Manager. This brings together the work I love most: getting close to customers, understanding what their systems are actually doing, and turning hard technical problems into progress.

Being first means an opportunity to help shape what comes next. I’m excited to bring my experience across support, infrastructure, observability, and platform adoption into this chapter—and to learn alongside the team and our customers.

Outside work, KubeFit is where I’m putting that same builder energy: practical training that gets you into the terminal and doing the reps. There’s a lot ahead. I’m ready to get to work.

Let's compare notes.

Working through a Kubernetes problem, trying KubeFit, or thinking about observability? I'd love to compare notes.
