We spend most of our lives interacting with systems we don't notice. Some are obvious: software, infrastructure, organizations. Others hide in plain sight: a garage, a family routine, a LEGO collection, a notebook full of unfinished ideas.
I've spent my career building technical systems. The older I get, the more I realize the same principles show up everywhere. This is where I write about those patterns.
